See how Contis’ own-label business services solution has optimised payroll for expatriate employees

Made Possible. By Contis.

The Problem

A drop in oil price and currency restrictions affected availability of the USD in many developing countries. This drove poor exchange rates which negatively impacted companies and employees doing business or being paid in USD.

The Solution

Contis counselled its client, leading them to develop a US Dollar facility loaded at central bank exchange rates. This was much preferred to current commercial banks or ‘black market’ rates where charges could range from 3% to 200%. The programme complies with anti-money laundering regulations and allows employees to deposit money on the card via salary sacrifice. Additionally, Contis provided the client with a web portal, enabling central management of accounts and employee cards (ordering, loading, downloading statements, etc).

What we made possible

Employees now receive salaries on Contis’ Freedom debit card, with personalised cards and a login portal. They can access their statements in real-time and benefit from customer service tools 24×7. The client is fully compliant with necessary regulations and can easily order and manage employee cards via Contis’ self-service corporate web portal.
