Commercial Account Manager

The role of the Commercial Account Manager is to develop the business with existing clients. This includes development and upselling of new product/new functionalities as well as expansion in new geographies and segments. In addition, the Commercial account manager is responsible for all contract renegotiations.

key responsibilities & accountabilities:

Commercial Sales Delivery: (70%):

• Create and agree annual business plan with CCO
• Develop, document and execute account plans
• Proactively work with the clients to drive programme(s) implementation and developments
• Establish and drive programme plans with clients with clear KPIs and actions.
• Development and maintain a relevant network of contacts within the client organisation
• Effectively work with the Contis team to ensure effective work with client
• Liaise with other areas of the business as appropriate including marketing, delivery, compliance, customer services and finance
• Provide weekly and monthly reporting, detailing progress, actions and any changes required in order to meet financial targets.
• Ensure all activity is accurately recorded in CRM.
• Ensure completion of all required sales documentation and adhere to sales processes.
• Support the wider sales team with contractual and commercial documentation for relevant clients
• Other duties as assigned.
Commercial Sales Development (30%):
• Develop a great understanding of the client business and establish relationships across various team
• Identify and develop upselling/expansion opportunities within portfolio of clients
• Develop proposition and commercials for the opportunities identified and bring them to contract, delivery and then full implementation
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms as required and in line with company guidelines.
• Demonstrate Contis product and services suite to a high standard.

• Own, manage and control delivery of sales and tender documentation.

Skills & knowledge required:

• Proven track record of successful commercial account management and financial results.
• Strong network of industry contacts.
• Solid experience of building successful business through existing business relationships.
• Strong commercial acumen skills and experience.
• Very driven and self motivated
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contractual and commercial documentation.
• Experience of working with marketing through all channels.
• A successful communicator at all levels and through all media.
• Effective and influential presentation skills.
• Experience of leading and motivating teams.
• Strong analytical ability.
• Experience of operating at a senior level.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft office
• Effective time management.
• Methodical and organised with a good attention to detail.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services industry.
• Maintain absolute client and company confidentiality at all times.
